A motorcycle cover is suppose to go over the entire bike, right? Well, what if you have a big cruiser or touring motorcycle that is abnormally large? You get an Xtra-Large Cover! Fortunately, Dowco motorcycle covers has it under control with their XL Guardian WeatherAll Plus to protect your behemoth of a bike.
Quantity or Quality?
How ’bout both?! The WeatherAll Plus motorcycle cover is meant for the biggest of motorcycles, but Dowco knows how to make a genuine product. Their bike covers last for years and protect your bike from the rain and foreign elements. Just because it’s bigger doesn’t mean it’s made with cheaper materials. Just look at the consumer reviews; it’s getting 4.5 out of 5 stars on Amazon!
Large Means Expensive, Right?
Yes, the XL weather-all plus is a big cover. And yes, it does cost more than most motorcycle covers. But, that isn’t necessarily the reason why. Like many other things, you get what you pay for when buying a protective cover for your bike. That is the scenario for this Dowco cover; this isn’t your $20 cover that you can buy from Wal-Mart or Target that may last a few months to a year. If you want to keep cover your baby, you may want to invest in a better motorcycle cover.

Is It Waterproof?
With that hard-earned money you’re spending on it, you bet it is! Not only does the exclusive ClimaShield keep the water out, but it has heat sealed double-taped seams and heat shields that allow you to throw it over your bike right when you park it, and the Moisture Guard vent system allows moisture to escape.
You Get What You Pay For
Like I said before, you’re generally going to get better things when you spend a little more. It has an interior liner that protects your expensive windshield from getting scratched up. Do you park your bike with wind being an issue? The Guardian WeatherAll covers the underside of your motorcycle as well with its sewn elastic shock cord and under-bike web strap, guarding it from unwanted moisture and dust.
What’s Included?
Well, you get the complete motorcycle cover, an underside web cover, sewn-on grommets for convenient cable locking, as well as pockets if you want an alarm. You also get a storage bag for the cover if you want to take it along on a road-trip. Oh, and how does life-time warranty sound?
Any Downsides?
Cost is a factor many people consider when buying a motorcycle cover. However, almost every owner will say that the Dowco WeatherAll Plus is worth the price because of what it has to offer. Getting the correct size cover has been a problem for some people, so the consensus would be to order a size larger. One more fault, although uncommon, is the under-bike strap coming apart. Fortunately, with it’s lifetime warranty, you can return it if a problem like that occurs.
